100% Chardonnay

Nose: A classic expression of Chardonnay, this wine is aromatic and smooth with a core of elegant minerality. A combination of crisp apple, fresh flowers, white stone fruit and pear introduce deeper tones of toasted sesame and vanilla bean.

Palate: Bright and round, the wine offers a graceful decadence at first sip. A subtle, flinty minerality elevates notes of straw, peach and lemon peel, culminating in a delicate, persistent, citrusy finish.      

Winemaking: This Chardonnay was harvested from a single vineyard in San Miguel and fermented in stainless steel to keep it fresh. It was then aged for 8 months in a mix of  320L to 400L new and neutral French oak barrels to slowly integrate new oak and preserve freshness. Partial malolactic fermentation and biweekly stirring added texture, balance, and a silky, lasting finish.
