Tasting Notes from November 2025: With just over 8 years in bottle this wine is still impressively aromatic, with a pleasantly pungent balance of fruity, savory, earthy, and complex aged nuances. Damp forest floor,  autumn leaves, ripe fig, and black cherry take the lead, while notes of sweet barrel toast and light woodsmoke remain both youthful and incredibly integrated. On the palate, hints of mocha, tobacco, and leather add depth and richness to the silky and energetic entry. Floral accents of rose and lavender and a flint-like minerality add dimension to the medium plus/ full -bodied mid-palate and finish. The wine is drinking incredibly well now but should have the structure and intensity to cellar for many more years.
