2022 Cabernet Sauvignon
Nose: The 2022 End of the Day Cabernet Sauvignon is packed full of everything you want from this variety grown in Paso Robles. Aged 15 months in 24% new, French oak, the wine opens with a beautiful toasted bouquet of mocha and cedar, while savory tea leaves last through the entire experience.
Palate: The wine is rustic and sweet with earthy tones, more dried tea leaves, underbrush, and vanilla bean on a decadent and lengthy finish.
Winemaking Notes: "The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes used to craft this wine came from a selection of vineyards chosen for their differences in clones and fruit expressions, including contrasts of dark fruits, herbal tones, and notes of earth and underbrush. Each batch of grapes was fermented separately and blended after five months in barrel. The final blend was then aged for a total of 15 months in 24% new French oak and 76% neutral French oak barrels. This combination offers an abundance of savory and mocha aromas while remaining fresh, fruity, and rich on the palate."
