Primitivo is a clone of Zinfandel and a variety best know from southern Italy. This wine has all the characteristics you would expect from a big Zinfandel. It is a powerful and expressive wine loaded with tons of dried plum, cranberry and cherry aromas coupled with licorice, roasted coffee bean and big fruit flavors.
