Event details
The members of the Rhone Rangers invite you to join them for a day in Paso Robles Wine Country with some of America’s leading producers of Rhone varietals as we explore these great grapes and wines. This fun-filled and information-rich day will be held at the Paso Robles Event Center. The day's schedule includes:
Coffee Bar and Auction Preview
9:30am-10:30am: All-Access Pass Holders Only
Join us a little early to get a first look at the great auction lots and enjoy a cup of artisan coffee.
"Rhone Essentials" Seminar
10:30am-12:00pm: All-Access Pass Holders Only
Taste a top example of each of the principal categories of Rhone Rangers wines as you hear from winemakers and principals who have chosen the Rhone Ranger route in America. The seminar will be moderated by Jess Lander, Wine Reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle. The nine categories of wine that we'll be sharing are:
Viognier
Obscure white varietal
White Rhone blend
Dry rose
Grenache
Mourvedre
Syrah
Obscure red varietal
Red Rhone blend
Seminar panelists will be announced in December.
Vintners' Lunch
12:00pm-1:00pm: All-Access Pass Holders Only
Seminar participants will be joined by Rhone Rangers principals and winemakers for a gourmet lunch. Throughout lunch, members' Rhone wines will be passing freely around the tables, while attendees enjoy an extended opportunity to interact with the producers. Click here to view menu.

1:30pm-4:00pm: General Admission
Taste 200+ wines from Rhone Rangers members from Paso Robles, Santa Barbara County, Monterey, Napa, Sonoma, El Dorado, Livermore Valley, the Sierra Foothills, Temecula, Oregon and Virginia! During the Grand Tasting, bid on lots donated by Rhone Rangers member wineries and help support the Rhone Rangers educational mission.
