Fermented and aged in French oak barrels. A small percentage of the barrels used were new in order to provide a full and rich mouth-feel with toasty notes. The balance of the barrels used were neutral (previously used) so that the fruit characteristics become the focal point. Try this 2012 SIDEKICK blend with roasted chicken or grilled and/or pan seared scallops and you'll be in heaven.
